President's Message

I hope all of you are having a great summer! I cannot believe fall is right around the corner. We are excited to have a Bi-State Fall Meeting with the Arkansas State Society. The meeting will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake Report Spa & Convention Center, Branson, MO, 415 North State Highway 265, Branson, MO 65616.

Branson is beautiful in the fall and most of the trees should be changing colors by then. We will have some great speakers, provide breakfast/lunch, interact with members and friends, and earn continuing education credits.

If any of our members have suggestions on new topics, would like to present, or know someone who would like to present, please let us know. We are always looking for new trends in the allied health field, individuals who love to teach and are knowledgeable in an area that would benefit us all.

Also, please mark your calendars for the 2024 AMT Annual Meeting being held in St. Louis, Missouri July 8 – 12. I would love to see a huge representation of our Missouri members attend, and I welcome all the other state societies to our home state. If you have never attended an American Medical Technologist Annual Meeting, this is the perfect time to start!
