During the growing Covid-19 pandemic, we at Central Plains Society of AMT are in the front lines providing care to our patients. We are making sure that we meet our patients safety and wellness. We have implemented some changes to help meet our patient’s medical needs while keeping them safe and “socially distanced”. Kansas is on a Mandatory “Stay at Home” policy. Nebraska is on a Mandatory Health Restrictions. Many offices and hospitals have implemented new safety procedures to protect both the patients and their staff. Some have even been offering free telemedicine. You may see health staff wearing masks. This is to protect both them and you from any additional exposure. I am sure that we all look forward to when we can show our smiling faces to you again.
Due to the extenuating circumstances. There will not be a CPSAMT Spring Newsletter for you to receive upcoming information. Some of the information that you may need to know are:
The AMT 2020 Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, NM. July 13 - 16, 2020 has been canceled for the safety of our members and the staff. Visit the AMT website for further information. The next Annual Meeting will be July 19-23, 2021 in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Central Plains Society is going to have a joint fall meeting with Missouri and Oklahoma on October 16th and 17th, 2020. Location will be the Downstream Casino Resort, 69300 E. Nee Rd, Quapaw, OK 74363. Two hours of CEU’s on Friday evening and five hours of CEU’s on Saturday. Lunch will be provided. Online registration will be available. Watch for details to follow in the coming months. This is a great time to network with other healthcare providers, get CEU’s and have a good time at the Casino.
