Requirements
To reactivate your certification, you must meet the current eligibility criteria, which may differ from those at the time of your initial certification.
- MLS Reactivation applicants must provide proof of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. If the degree was earned outside the U.S., a course-by-course transcript evaluation is required from one of the approved evaluation services listed on our website. The evaluation must confirm that the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. List of evaluation services
Reactivation is required if you:
Were certified after January 1, 2006, and:
- Failed to document the required CCP points.
- Failed to pay one or more renewal fees during your 3-year cycle.
Were certified before January 1, 2006, and:
- Have been inactive for three or more consecutive years due to unpaid annual renewal fees.
Audited by CCP and could not demonstrate compliance with the program.
