President's Message

I hope everyone is having a great summer! The Annual Meeting for AMT has come and gone, and we are looking forward to our next GASSAMT meeting. Be sure to check out the Delegate reports in the Georgia online community to get their perspectives on the meeting. Our next state meeting will be held on September 23, 2023, at the Holiday Inn Northlake in Atlanta. We will be selecting committee members to work on reviewing and updating our state society by-laws and reviewing and updating our SOP. Your input on either or both committees is vital to keeping our state society in compliance and vibrant so please consider volunteering whatever time you can to serve.

The Next Magnolia Educational Treasures will be held in Maitland, Florida, just outside Orlando, in September 2024. More information will be coming soon. We plan to have vendors, a wine and cheese reception, the ever-popular silent auction, as well as the door prize auction during the reception.

The next AMT annual meeting will be held in St. Louis, MO July 9-12, 2024. We will be electing delegates at our 2024 spring meeting so watch for information in early 2024 to attend.
