President's Message

Hello Michigan Members,

We had a busy year; we went to Pittsburgh in July for the annual AMT National Meeting and had 9 delegates representing our state this year. Then in September we hosted the Great Lakes District Meeting in Frankenmuth at The Bavarian Lodge. I was well attended with our AMT Director Kathy Cilia and our National Board President Harry Narine in attendance.

In 2026 we will go to Columbus Ohio for the National Meeting July 21-25. Our Michigan State Meeting will be October 22-23, 2026, at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan. Watch for more information on email blasts and on the FB page. Please always keep your information up to date so you don't miss any events or changes with policy and procedures. We look forward to seeing you there.

Be on the watch for more information on the National Meeting for 2027, which will be a joint meeting with CASMET in the Caribbean. You will need a passport for this one, so you have time to get it.

In a few months we will be sending out information on how to nominate someone deserving a state award, so be thinking about it.
