Greetings to all members of the Minnesota State Society of AMT:
I am so honored and want to thank you all for the opportunity to be your President this year. We are beginning the new year with many amazing events coming up. I am looking to get to see and know all of you locally and nationally as well.
AMT is truly am amazing organization that you can grow with personally and professionally. The experiences I have had with AMT have brought me so much growth in my career path. I have been on the MN Board since 2012 and then was the Secretary for many years then transitioned to Treasurer in 2020 and now in 2023 as your President.
Please mark your calendar for our Spring meeting that will be Monday, March 27, 2023. An email blast will be sent to the membership. Also, the Collaborative CLC meeting will be held in Mankato, Minnesota, April 12 -13, 2023. Get involved and volunteer for committees. This is our continuing education that we do every year.
AMT’s Annual Meeting will be held July 24-28, 2023, in Norfolk, Virginia. More information on registration and hotel details will be available soon. We are always looking for state delegates so please feel free to let me know if you are interested in sitting as a delegate. You can be a delegate if you meet the criteria. It is a wonderful experience to represent your state. Anyone that has been there will tell you that it is a lot of fun, learning new skills and socializing while earning up to 15 continuing education credits. It is always good seeing old friends as well as new friends.
