President's Message

Unfortunately, our President, Tyler Porterfield, had to step down as President. I am very honored that your State Society Board of Directors has the faith and confidence in me to elect me to finish his term this year.

If you missed the Spring 2023 meeting in Casper WY, you missed a great one. We had about 30 students in attendance, including MLS students from Casper College that gave a great presentation. We hope they return to our Fall meeting and present again. We were honored to have our National Board Secretary, Fran Oran, and our Western District Councilor, Sheryl Rounsville in attendance too. We had some great CE offerings, did the business of the society, and had a lot of fun. We have about 17 Delegates representing us at the Annual Meeting in Norfolk VA. If you'd like to be a delegate in the future, be sure to start attending your state society meetings.

We are coming into the summer season now. Time to get back outdoors and (safely) enjoy all that Colorado and Wyoming have to offer. Don't forget to stay on top of your CCP requirements.

We hope to see you all at our Fall Meeting in Grand Junction CO on October 14th. Be sure to come and see us at the reception on October 13th first so we can get to know one another. AMT is one big happy family, and we need you all to join us!
