This award recognizes outstanding activity and service to AMT and its members at both the state and national levels. Nominated by the state society.
The Distinguished Achievement Award recognizes outstanding service to AMT and its members at the state level. Award recipients are nominated by the state society.
The GEM award (for “going the extra mile”) recognizes those members who have recently relinquished an important, national-level, AMT appointive office or position of leadership after many years of distinguished service.
Pillar awarded to longtime members who have worked faithfully in their state societies and have compiled a long track record of service to AMT at the state level but who are eliminated from consideration from national awards simply because they have already received them. Limited to those individuals who received national Distinguished Achievement Awards at least five years prior to 2001.
This award recognizes, posthumously, outstanding volunteer leaders within AMT who have recently passed away.
Award given to longtime member who embodies AMT values and outstanding accomplishments outside of the AMT world and in service to mankind.
Awarded to longtime members who have worked faithfully in their state societies and have compiled a long track record of service to AMT at the state level but who are eliminated from consideration for national awards simply because they have already received them. Limited to those individuals who received the national Exceptional Merit Award at least five years prior to 2001.
Award given in honor of Rebecca Moretz, MT of Boone, North Carolina recognizing outstanding dedication and services as a past or present District Councillor or national Board of Directors member.
This award is presented to an AMT member, nominated by peers, who has demonstrated outstanding continued involvement in continuing education by way of presentation of workshops, lectures, or seminars at both state and national levels, and publishing of articles in scientific or management journals. Formally conferred by AMTIE, now the AMT Scholarship Committee.
Award given to an AMT member to recognize significant contributions to his/her discipline and to the promotion of AMT in the Armed Services, Dept. of Defense or Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
Award given to a state society president for demonstrating excellence in leadership, dedication and service to AMT and its members.
This award recognizes those individuals who – although not AMT members themselves – have distinguished themselves over the years in dedication and service to AMT by actively supporting the efforts of an AMT member who may be a spouse or family member or friend of the award recipient.
The Leona Lyons Carter Award is given to the AMT state society that has demonstrated significant organizational development in the past year.
Awarded to a student who has shown outstanding achievements in allied health pursuits.
Awarded to students based on submission of an article on a topic in allied health.
