3. Prepare students for the certification exam.

Students can use the exam content outline as a checklist of the material that will be covered on the test and work their way through topics as they study.

4. Have your students schedule their exam.
Direct students to the AMT website to schedule their exam at a Pearson VUE testing center.
Where to Test
Students can take the exam at your school if it is a Pearson VUE site. Otherwise, students can take the exam at one of the hundreds of Pearson VUE testing center locations across the country by scheduling their exam at their convenience.

Don't Forget
Students must receive a confirmation from AMT that they are cleared to take the exam. They will receive an email, and they can check their status on My AMT Portal at anytime.
Students can test before they complete their externship.
