At the Annual meeting the revised Policy and update changes will be rolled out for implementation in the coming year:
Document Retention
Allowable Expense
State Society Awards and Scholarships
Updates on the State Society Budget process
The recent Financial Statements: (period from 1 Oct to 31 Dec 2025 /1st Qtr. fiscal year 2026) Covered only what your State Society Expenses were for that quarter, nothing else. If there is a discrepancy in your records of expenditures, PLEASE let AMT Accounting know.
Our mind sets need to change from: the money in your accounts is our state’s money to the mindset of it is AMT’s money. We are members of the organization of AMT.
The AMT Organizational Manual has been revised and approved by the board at their spring meeting. The manual has been divided into individual Policies. This will allow improved use of the manual and ease in maintaining updates.
The State Society Officers manual is currently in phase one of review and revision and will follow the same format as the Organizational Manual.
The State Society Calendar of Duties has been reviewed and updated and is to be attached to the State Society Officers policy of that manual.
Please prepare and/ or update your AMT resume. Keep your information current and ready. It is very important to have this information correct, documented and readily available when requested. The information is important for you and being a possible award nominee when awards time comes.
See you all soon . . .
Respectfully,
