President's Message

Happy Spring to all INSSAMT members!

I hope everyone has had a good start to 2026. 

I would like to update everyone on some of the activities planned for this year that you, as INSSAMT member, can attend. We hosted a fall scientific business meeting last October in Merrillville where three great speakers gave presentations on the importance of proper charting, basic phlebotomy reminders and the current trends in cardiac testing. We also hosted a spring scientific meeting at Lincoln Tech, Indianapolis, where we also provided 2 CEU's for our members. We met some great MA students there who are looking forward to becoming RMA's soon. 

The annual AMT meeting will be held in Columbus, OH from July 21-24. The schedule for the meeting has been posted on the AMT website and registration is now open. AMT will be offering several CEU's, each costing only $10 each. I hope to see some INSSAMT members there. We currently have 7 members interested in attending as delegates.

The state society is also planning to have a fall state business meeting in October that will include at least 3 CEU’s for everyone attending. Several members have begun planning their presentations. The IN State society elections will also be held during the business meeting on that date.

I hope to meet some of you at one or more of these events this year!
