President's Message
Happy Holidays!
As we stand at the threshold of 2026, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible year we’ve shared. If 2025 were a book, it would have a bit of everything-adventure, triumph, a couple of plot twists, and a few chapters that made us hold our breath! But our story here at AMT New Jersey chapter is still being written. It’s a story of strength, growth, and a shared vision for our chapter.
I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for your hard work, dedication, and contributions to our organization throughout the past year. Your commitment and enthusiasm have been instrumental in driving our success, and I am grateful for your ongoing efforts.
To highlight all that we accomplished this year in 2025 the following achievements were made, thanks to our group of diligent and goal-driven members. We were able to successfully:
- Held meetings with our members to see what the next steps are to make our state society grow and flourish.
- Reconnected with currently registered members.
- Complete our New Jersey Bylaws.
- SOP still under construction
- Added new members to our society Yazmin Perez, Ariana Orellano, Kimberly Lawton, Sakeerah Campbell.
- Our Officers have another year in office Treasurer Regina Johnson (RMA), Secretary Janette Rodgriguez (RMA), and Deidra Black (RMA), our new Board Member.
- Added 4 new Delegates for the 2026 National meeting in Columbus Ohio July 21-24, 2026).
- Becoming a joint society with the NY organization is on hold for now.
- Hosted an impactful and educational Scientific Meeting October 18, 2025.
- CPR with our new instructor Regina Johnson.
- Celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Medical Assistant Week and all disciplines who graduate this year 2025
As the NJ State Society President, although I am pleased with the number of success stories made in 2025 my goal for 2026 is to always grow and create more of these successful moments than the year prior. However, I cannot do all this on my own. We are currently looking for members to hold these positions for our E-board: Vice President and more member participation.
As we look forward to the year ahead, I am excited about the possibilities that lie before us. With your talent, passion, and commitment, I am confident that we can achieve wonderful things together. Please never hesitate to reach out to me. If you have a story or accomplishment you would like to share, please send it to either our email or follow us on our official Facebook page, both can be found on the NJ State Society page on the AMT website. Let us continue to work hand in hand, supporting and encouraging one another, as we strive towards our shared goals! I am excited about this year and cannot wait to start this journey with you all.
Best,
Martha Howard, RMA, CPT (AMT), CRA, CRO
