Fall 2025

Fall is in the air and it is getting a little nippy here. Members are getting ready for the holidays and a little cold weather. Most of you have had your fall state meetings but a few have not. I am really proud of the Central District.

I wanted to let you know that they now have a newer jot form for the Fall President’s Report. It can be completed once you have had your fall meeting. The new form has a place where you can attach your minutes and sign in sheets. This allows you to send in everything with one click. If you have not sent in your President’s report for the fall, or end of the year, try it out and let me know if you have any problems.

Be sure to get your awards nominations completed and sent in by December 15, 2025. You have a little extra time this year.

For the time being, the SOP’s are on hold till we get our new allowable uses policy completed. We also want to wait on awarding scholarships and awards till we get everything in order. AMT has hired a new finance director.

There has been a change for the national meetings as states no longer have to budget money for the hotels and travel costs. When completing the budget, just provide the number of delegates that will be attending. The same is true for the Labvocate Day.

When you start planning your next state meeting, be sure to send a copy of all contracts to amtmeetings@americanmedtech.org.

Our 2026 annual meeting will be held in Columbus, Ohio July 21-24. Delegates will receive four night’s hotel stay and a $400 stipend.

The 2027 annual meeting will be a joint meeting with CASMET and located in the Caribbean. The exact location has not been decided. If you are planning to attend, please make sure that you have an up to date passport.

If you have any questions, please text or email me.
