President's Message

I hope all of you are having a great start to the year! I cannot believe we are already in spring this year. Summer is my favorite time of year, so I am always happy when winter decides to exit. We have several new and exciting changes for the Missouri State Society this year.

We are joining Arkansas as a joint state and that will be official in April 2024. Our new name is Ozark State Society of the American Medical Technologist.

We are excited to have our first meeting as “Ozark State Society” on Saturday, May 4th, in Little Rock Arkansas. The meeting will be held at the Courtyard by Marriot Litte Rock Downtown, 521 President, Clinton Ave. Little Rock, Arkansas.

We are also very excited to host the American Medical Technologist Annual Meeting that will be held in St. Louis, Missouri from July 8 to 12, 2024 at the Hyatt 315 Chestnut, St. Louis, MO 63102. I would love for the Ozark members to be well-represented at the conference. This is a great way to earn continuing education credits to support your credentials.

If any of our members have suggestions on new topics, would like to present or know anyone who would like to present, please let us know. We are always looking for new trends in the allied health field, individuals who love to teach and are knowledgeable in an area that would benefit us all.
