President's Message

Fellow Members,

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Dodie (Dorothy) Marks, and I am honored to be the newly elected president of the PASSAMT. I live in York, PA with my husband, Pat, our dog Molly Brown, our two tortoiseshell calicos Mirabelle and Nala, and our fish family. We have two grown children – one lives in Dallas, TX and one in Salt Lake City, UT.

I work in a large healthcare system in southcentral PA as a clinical and molecular microbiologist/performance improvement specialist.

Working through COVID-19 was challenging. We performed many validations and learned what EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) meant to us. I would love to hear your stories!

I believe we are turning a corner and I am looking forward to attending meetings in person (and not always ZOOM!)

In order to strengthen our state society, we need members to become active. There are leadership and networking opportunities available. Please do not hesitate to contact me or any of our officers or board members for more information.
